We are innovators and we seek an energetic Software Engineer who is looking for challenges in the field of software product and services development.  The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing application designs for enterprise desktop, web and/or mobile development projects using Microsoft and ESRI technologies.  Our offices are located in Boise, ID and Olympia WA. We would consider relocating the successful candidate to Boise and we would consider having you work from a remote location.  We are most focused on finding the right fit for the position and our culture.

The typical development environment includes using the .NET Framework and ESRI GIS libraries with Microsoft Visual Studio and will include:

•           Develop coding libraries and re-usable modular code
•           Assist in creating application designs and user documentation
•           Participate in reviews of system architecture, data model, and application design

The qualified candidate will participate with our team in the design, development, execution and maintenance of software products and systems. Additionally, candidates must have strong coding skills; fully understand software development tools and platforms.  The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to help our team improve our customers’ experience.

Experience:

•           Minimum required experience is two years and preferred is three plus years
•           C# programming experience highly desired, VB.NET experience also desired.  Scripting such as Python a plus
•           Visual Studio .NET
•           Database querying and in Oracle and SQL Server
•           Source control repositories such as Microsoft Visual SourceSafe and SVN
•           Web development with ASP .NET, JavaScript, HTML.  JSP and Java a plus.
•           GIS principles; experience with ESRI’s suite of software, including Arc Objects a plus
•           Smart Client Software Factory, Web Client Software factory, and Composite Application Block desirable

Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits Package:

We offer a competitive benefits package including health, medical, dental, defined contribution retirement plan, paid holidays and PTO.  We offer a competitive base plus the ability to qualify for annual bonus and profit sharing program after one full year of employment.
