Boise, ID - Febuary 11th, 2011 - Elizabeth Marshall, founder of Marshall GIS, is pleased to announce that Carl Arriola has joined the company as its President and Chief Operating Officer. Carl was previously CEO of Tates Rents, Inc., a multi-location, multi-division rental company. Prior to that, he was General Manager of a manufacturing business with Building Materials Holding Corporation. He began his career as a CPA and worked for two national public accounting firms in their audit and business advisory practices.

About Carl Arriola
Arriola earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s of business administration from Boise State University. He served thirteen years in the U.S. Army and Reserve Component and was a Captain while deployed in support of operations in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Carl remains active in the community and volunteers for the U-Drove Humanitarian Bowl Council, Boise State University Department of Accounting Faculty Advisory Board and the United Way of Treasure Valley.
Marshall will continue in her role as Chief Executive Officer of the company and Chairman of its Advisory Board. Arriola will join the Marshall GIS Advisory Board along with Ward Parkinson and Tom Kealey who previously joined the Board when the company relocated its headquarters to Boise, Idaho.
“We have grown significantly including adding international clients. It is the right time to expand our senior team with global, technology and financial experience. Carl brings senior management experience to improve the operations of our business,” said Marshall. “My efforts will continue on strategic initiatives, product development, marketing and sales,” she added.
