Marshall and Associates, Inc. (Marshall), in association
with GBA Master Series, Inc. (gbaMS), announced today that it has entered
a contract to provide an integrated mobile software solution to the Municipality
of Anchorage (MOA). Marshall and gbaMS will provide software and professional
services to implement a modern, scalable, and fully integrated asset management,
capital planning, and work order system to manage MOA's traffic sign and
signal assets.
MOA's Traffic Department used Marshall's GeoResults
Mobile, a GIS, and operations field automation solution, to collect signs
and signals data in the summer of 2006. To support this new project, Marshall
will integrate GeoResults Mobile with the GBA Master Series® Enterprise
Asset Management software, to provide mobile GIS, field data collection,
asset condition updates, and work order processing for field-based staff.
MOA will use the GeoResults Mobile GoWork! module to process work orders
in the field.
